Rosh HaGiva accepts all type of Jewish families. We strive to make all Jewish families feel equal, no matter how they dress, what level of religion they come from, and to give every jewish child the individual attention they need and deserve.
We opened our doors because a group of families with children rejected by orthodox schools had girls at home chanukah in 2017. It is hard to fathom that the best choice these families had was to keep their children at home. Once aware of the issue, Rosh HaGiva knew it had the responsibility to provide a Jewish education and has grown from 23-53 students in its first two years of operation.
In many areas in Israel families who don’t fit in a perfect orthodox box get rejected by schools because they come from less observant/more modern homes. Rosh HaGiva gives families who would otherwise be forced to go to public school without an orthodox education a viable option where none existed. Rosh HaGiva provides a caring, nurturing, orthodox environment for our children.
Our goal is to make sure our unique school, tailored to bridge a little known gap in the education system that leaves some families without a orthodox school option for their children, survives, grows, and flourishes.
